Launceston Chamber of Commerce is an organisation made up of business people from the town. Membership is open to any business owner whose business operates within Launceston or the surrounding areas/villages. We meet once a month to discuss any issues of concern to traders and shoppers in the town.
Our main activity is currently the Christmas Lights display and the organisation of the Nate Night Shopping event in the lead up to Christmas. However, we are currently undergoing a period of great change, and our new web site is just the start of this change.
We aim to improve the town for all those who visit or work here, in addition to providing mutual benefits to business owners in the town.
Launceston is a wonderful town, with a great mix of interesting independent businesses as well as the national chain stores.
We want to keep it that way.
