Member Benefits
Now we have linked to the Tourist information Office through our funding of the office, members now get their business advertised on the Chamber website AND the TIC website.
By teaming up with various bodies within Cornwall, we offer events for members including training courses, seminars and workshops. From 2009 these events will be FREE for chamber members but subject to charge for non members.
Members also receive regular news about important issues and events which have an impact on the local business community, including changes to legislation which may impact on your business.
Through our links with SW Chambers we have access to some great small business resources and take part in quarterly business analysis returns.
Our monthly meetings are regularly attended by local councillors and Devon & Cornwall Police, giving us the opportunity to have our say in matters which effect our businesses. In addition, our meetings are also regularly attended by guest speakers bringing us news and information on projects which are going on in the area.
We have good links with Launceston College (who are members of the Chamber) and are continually working toward building a mutually beneficial relationship between the staff and students of the college and business managers.
Over 90 businesses are already members of Launceston Chamber of Commerce. Please come and join us and make Launceston a better place to live, work and do business.
