Gillard's Traditional Sweets & Confectionery

A huge selection of traditional sweets served from jars as they used to be. Sold by the 100g (no quarters any more - sorry) you can make up your own selection of as many or as few of each sweet as you like. There is also plenty for the children to choose from - traditional favourites like Sherbert Fountains, Catherine Wheels, Fruit Salads, Black Jacks or Popping Candy, or more modern fare such as Toxic Waste or Mega Sour Apple !

We have shops in Launceston,  Bodmin and Mevagissey

We also now have an ONLINE SHOP where you can order all your favourite sweets from the comfort of your armchair.

Gillards

We also stock genuine cornish made biscuits, fudge and toffees. Beware of buying clotted cream fudge and biscuits from other suppliers, much of it is not made in Cornwall at all.
Our fudge and Cornish biscuits are actually made in Cornwall and are marked with the Cornwall County Council approval mark, as is our range of Trenance Chocolate :

We also offer a wide selection of Gluten Free and sugar free sweets, biscuits, jams and cakes, suitable for diabetics and those with a sweet tooth who have to take care of their carb intake or who are intolerant of certain addatives, colourings or preservatives.

Gillard's Launceston are located in Church Street (opposite WH Smith), in what was once the London Inn, a 17th Century building which is on the town trail due to its historic interest.
Don't miss the magnificent granite fireplace - still visible in the Ice Cream Parlour.
